This first workshop will analyse the gaps which are currently maintaining the status quo in information visualisation within science and policy, and create a joined-up agenda for moving forward. Through presentations, discussions and hands on activities the working group will explore:
successes and challenges of existing visualisation strategies and practices in science and policy
what we know about the information pipeline from scientific research to stakeholder
requirements for developing and implementing a joined-up approach
the structure of future plans for the working group and an engagement plan
